Georgia Football: Daily Dose of Dawg, 8/24/15
Quiet offseason and a clean bill of health?
Of course not.
Bad news on the Justin Scott-Wesley front, as when reading between the lines on Mark Richt’s comments, has played his last snaps in a Georgia uniform.
Previous reports were that it was just a sprain, but having ominous news come straight from the head coach’s mouth isn’t promising.
As I’m sure you’re well aware, Georgia checked in at #9 in the AP poll, consistent with their ranking in the Coaches’. The SEC was unsurprisingly well-represented: Alabama at 3, Auburn at 6, LSU at 14, Ole Miss comically underrated at 17, Arkansas at 18, and Mizzou and Tennessee repping the East and closing the rankings at 24 and 25.
That’s…about it. Not much going on in the world of Georgia football, and with 12 days to go before the opener…that’s perfectly fine. Time for some shameless plugs!
