Georgia Football: No Real Surprise, Brice Ramsey Will Open Camp As QB1
Sometimes, the most glaringly obvious news still bears reporting. After a nutty offseason of movement in the UGA quarterback department, new OC Brian Schottenheimer’s first depth chart has redshirt sophomore Brice Ramsey at the top.

This should come as no surprise. As Hutson Mason’s backup last year, Ramsey saw extensive action in a few games and performed very well for a redshirt freshman. With him on the field, Georgia’s offense at least has a chance to be more vertical than it was in 2014, as Ramsey easily had the best arm among Georgia’s QB’s last year.
With the arrival of Greyson Lambert, who starts classes in Athens today, it seems logical to assume that this race isn’t over. Faton Bauta made strides in spring ball, but would still have to be considered a longshot for the job.
The link above has a few more good tidbits about the depth chart, including Isaiah McKenzie as the #1 “Y” receiver, Brandon Kublanow and Isaiah Wynn switching spots on the O-line, and Leonard Floyd being listed at multiple linebacker spots.
