Nick Chubb For Heisman, Florida Losing Their Best Player To The NFL Draft, And More

Heisman

Nick Chubb has catapulted onto the scene these past 6 weeks, and that includes the National scene as well. ESPN even has him on the top 15 Heisman contenders! Chubb has not even started half the season, and he is already over 1000 yards for the year with 3 games to play. I do not think Chubb will win many post season awards this year, but the future sure does look bright for this young Bulldog. Here is the full list of SEC Heisman contenders.

Blackout

Mark Richt hinted at the possibility of Georgia bringing the black jerseys out sometime next season. I personally love the black jerseys, but if they decide to bring them out against the Tide next season, it might not bode well once again. My dream is to see Georgia blackout Georgia Tech. Just imagine how rowdy Sanford Stadium would get, and how intimidated the Yellow Jackets would be in that environment. Here is the full quote, with a new design concept.

Going Pro

Florida’s best defensive player is going pro at the end of this season. Dante Fowler Jr. is without a doubt one of the best interior linemen in the entire country, and should have no problem being drafted in the first round. Fowler took to Twitter to announce his departure, and included a nod to Will Muschamp. Here is the full story.
