Crootin’: Florida Is DEAD LAST In The SEC, While Georgia Holds Firm At Number Two

Dawgs Sitting Pretty

Georgia has put together one of the most complete classes in recent memory for the 2015 Bulldog class. Mark Richt has been able to keep some of the elite in state talent like Trent Thompson and Terry Godwin, but has also grabbed a few key out-of-state recruits like Van Jefferson, and Jackson Harris. Georgia can pretty much coast until signing day, because they have already locked up a top five class Nationally.

Top Recruits (23 Total Commits)

  • Trent Thompson (Five Star)

  • Terry Godwin (Five Star)

  • Jonathan Ledbetter (Four Star)

  • Reshad Roundtree (Four Star)

Vandy > Florida

Florida has some serious work to do. They are ranked 14th in the SEC. That is out of 14 teams. DEAD LAST. This is the same Florida that used to have a top five class just by showing up. Are the recruits afraid to commit to Muschamp’s future? The guy just beat Georgia, and has an outside shot at winning the SEC East. Florida needs to step their game up, because VANDY has a better recruiting class to this point, and that is unacceptable.

Top Recruits (9 Total Commits)

  • Derrick Dillion (Four Star)

  • Sheriron Jones (Four Star)

  • Tyler Jordan (Three Star)

Georgia and Florida should both be consistently in the top five nationally when it comes to recruiting rankings. Florida needs to hold up their end of the bargain a little better, because being ranked 14th is not only an embarrassment for Florida, but the SEC as a whole. We expect Vandy to be ranked dead last, not a two-time National Champion. Get your mind right Florida, and stop messing around.
