Johnathan Abram – ☆☆☆
East Marion (Columbia, MS) S
6-1/202
*** Committed to the Dawgs a couple of weeks ago. As I said last week, I’m not super impressed with Abram, but the Georgia coaches may see something in him that I’m just not able to see.

Will Get:

Chidi Valentine-Okeke – ☆☆☆☆
Faith Baptist Christian Academy (Ludowici, GA) OT
6-6/305
*** I’ve felt all along that the Dawgs would wind up landing Valentine-Okeke. Why didn’t I have him in my “Will Get” then? Well, until last week, Chidi was a 2016 recruit, but after certain things got straightened out with his transcript, he is now a 2015 recruit. Chidi is a MUST GET for the Bulldogs who could really use some big bodies on the offensive line.
Roquan Smith – ☆☆☆☆
Macon County (Montezuma, GA) OLB
6-2/205
Donte Jackson – ☆☆☆☆
Riverdale (New Orleans, LA) ATH
5-11/175
Darius Slayton – ☆☆☆☆
Greater Atlanta Christian School (Norcross, GA) WR
6-2/182
Emanuel McGirt – ☆☆☆☆
Hillside (Durham, NC) OT
6-6/275
D’Andre Walker – ☆☆☆☆
Langston Hughes (Fairburn, GA) WDE
6-2/218
Javarius Davis – ☆☆☆
Langston Hughes (Fairburn, GA) WDE
6-2/218
*** Georgia offered Davis a couple of weeks ago, and he immediately moved the Dawgs to the top of his list. One interesting thing to note with Davis is that he is the brother of former Bulldog, Bryan Evans. I truly believe that Javarius is right on the brink of committing to the Red & Black, and I wouldn’t be surprised if we got that news following the Auburn game.

Good Shot At:

Josh Sweat – ☆☆☆☆☆
Oscar Smith (Chesapeake, VA) WDE
6-5/240
Tarvarus McFadden – ☆☆☆☆☆
American Heritage (Fort Lauderdale, FL) CB
6-3/198
*** Tarvarus committed the Florida State a couple of weeks ago, but the Bulldogs are still very much in it for him. He loves the Dawgs and actually said that he was going to commit to them until he took a visit to FSU for the Notre Dame game. Former high school teammates and current UGA freshmen, Sony Michel and Isaiah McKenzie, will be huge when it comes to landing Tarvarus, and McKenzie is actually going to be his host. I fully expect McFadden to leave Athens this weekend feeling a little unsure about his commitment to the Seminoles.
Justin Martin – ☆☆☆
Overton (Nashville, TN) CB
6-2/192
*** Justin Martin is a very talented junior college cornerback who the Dawgs would love to land. I think Tennessee has the slight edge right now, but Martin loves the Dawgs, and I could certainly see Pruitt convincing him to come to Athens.
Albert Huggins – ☆☆☆☆
Orangeburg-Wilkinson (Orangeburg, SC) DT
6-3/279
Montavious Atkinson – ☆☆☆☆
Langston Hughes (Fairburn, GA) ILB/S
6-1/200
Adonis Thomas – ☆☆☆☆
Central Gwinnett (Lawrenceville, GA) ILB/ATH
6-3/229

Will Not Get, But Dawgs Will Be Close:

Chuma Edoga – ☆☆☆☆☆
McEachern (Powder Springs, GA) OT
6-3/276
Antonio Callaway – ☆☆☆
Booker T. Washington (Miami, FL) OT
6-1/185
Micah Abernathy – ☆☆☆☆
Greater Atlanta Christian School (Norcross, GA) CB
6-1/187
