Roundtree Announcement

Rashad Roundtree – ☆☆☆☆☆
#24 Overall; #2 S; #5 in GA
Lakeside (Evans, GA) S

5-Star safety, Rashad Roundtree, will be committing tommorow at 9 a.m. via Twitter (@Rashad_Tr33). I would be absolutely shocked if Rashad committed to anyone other than the Bulldogs.

Here’s the article I did the other day on why Rashad is so critical to this 2015 UGA class.

Something to Pay Attention To

Nate Craig *2016 – ☆☆☆☆☆
#1 Overall; #1 WR; #1 in FL
Tampa Catholic (Tampa, FL) WR

A couple of months ago, I wrote about Nate Craig (here) and told Dawg fans to keep an eye on him. Craig, the #1 overall player for 2016, is an Auburn recruit, but there’s something really big, or rather someone, that is pulling him to UGA. 5-Star quarterback, Jacob Eason, has been going after Craig hard and has made it clear to him that he wants him to join him in Athens. Nate says that he would love to play with Eason and that they are building a relationship.

Well, this could mean nothing, but yesterday Nate Craig tweeted this out:

“News coming soon about my recruiting process” (He later deleted this)

He followed that tweet up with:

247 Sports caught up with Craig shortly after the tweets and he said, “I want to talk to my mom about some things.” Sources close to Auburn said that he talked with the staff and smoothed things out for now, but I still think things are pretty interesting here. Craig is obviously wavering a bit, and it wouldn’t surprise me to see him open his recruitment back up sometime in the next few weeks. If he does, the Dawgs will certainly be in the mix for his talents.

Check out his sophomore highlights here:
