Tarvarus McFadden Talks Upcoming Plans

Tarvarus McFadden – ☆☆☆☆☆
American Heritage (Fort Lauderdale, FL) CB
6-3/198

The 5-star cornerback from Plantation, Florida, still plans to announce his decision on October 31. He does plan on still taking some official visits, however, after he commits so this could be an interesting one to watch all the way up to National Signing Day. Right now, McFadden says that Georgia and Florida State are tied at the top, and if I had to guess I’d say Georgia even has a slight edge. McFadden loved his last visit to UGA, and many have even speculated that he’s already committed to the Georgia coaching staff. Now I don’t know if that’s true, but the Bulldogs are certainly trending with him.

McFadden will visit FSU this upcoming weekend, and wants to visit UGA November 15 when they take on Auburn. Of course, this will be after he commits, so he’ll either be enjoying his future school or getting the royal treatment and a lot of persuasion.

Story on McFadden here.

Jacob Eason Highlights

Jacob Eason *2016 – ☆☆☆☆☆
Lake Stevens High School (Lake Stevens, WA) QB
6-5/207

Week 5 highlights here.

Jacob continues to impress me with his unreal arm strength and pinpoint accuracy. Like I’ve said before, it wouldn’t surprise me one bit if he comes into Athens and starts game one as a freshman.

Dawg Commit, Michael Barnett, Talks Visit to Athens

Michael Barnett – ☆☆☆☆
Woodland (Dorchester, S.C.) SDE
6-5/258

4-Star defensive end, Michael Barnett, flipped his commitment from Florida to State to UGA without ever even stepping foot on campus. Saturday, he visited Athens for the first time and loved it. Barnett says that he is shutting his recruitment process down and will just be taking visits to Athens from now on. He likes UGA because he’ll be able to play early, it’s close to home, and he’s very comfortable with the people there.

Story on Barnett’s trip to Athens here.

If you haven’t seen Barnett’s highlights yet, you need to check them out:
