Prediction Machine: Kentucky Will Beat The Dak Attack and The Bulldogs
Can’t Have Two Cinderella’s
These two teams have been the two most surprising teams as we arrive at the mid point of the season. On one hand, you have the Bulldogs from Mississippi State who made the fastest poll climb in the history of sports. On the the other, you have Kentucky who has started 5-1 for the first time in more than a decade, and almost beat the Gators in the Swamp. These two “Cinderella’s” face off next weekend, and I believe it could shake up the SEC West once again.
Why Kentucky Will Win
Kentucky travels to LSU this weekend and I believe that win or lose they will still beat State. It is not because they have the better team, QB, or coach, but because the home field advantage will finally be a factor for State. I know State won at LSU, but they gave up 14 points in under 3 minutes, and LSU had a shot at a Hail Mary at the end of the game to win it. I believe Kentucky can score with anyone, and has a good enough secondary to guard the big receivers of State, and to stop the “Dak Attack”.

Why State Will Crumble
I am on the State bandwagon. I know it does not seem like it, but I would love to see the cowbells ringing in Dallas at the end of the season. It would be huge for their fan base and the SEC as a whole. State can still win the SEC with a loss to Kentucky, and State is due for a let down game. I think Dak is great, but he still threw 3 interceptions and continued to open the door for Auburn to win the game this past saturday. If Dak throws 3 interceptions against Kentucky, I believe it will be the nail in the coffin for State’s undefeated dreams.
48-44 Kentucky. If you let a team like Kentucky hang around for 4 quarters, they will end up winning the game. I believe turnovers from Dak, and Kentucky’s relentless passing attack, will send shock waves through the college football world on October 25th. You heard it here first.
