Georgia Football: Aaron Murray Sounds Off About Gurley, Hutson Mason = Mr. Confident, Inside Georgia Football Video – Daily Dose of Dawg
Aaron Murray Gives His Take On the Gurley Situation
One thing that was clear Tuesday when talking to different players was that Todd Gurley has the full support of his teammates.
“Everybody’s behind him. There hasn’t been an ounce of negative thoughts toward Todd at all. Everybody’s been behind him 120 percent.” – Jay Rome (Tight End)
Now although everyone on the team supports Todd and has no bitterness towards him, some have different views about the school benefiting from their likenesses. Jay Rome for example isn’t too happy with the current rule, and when he sees somebody wearing a #87 jersey, he feels jipped. Brendan Douglas, on the other hand, doesn’t really care that much and thinks it’s cool when somebody wears their jersey.
Aaron Murray offered up his thoughts on the Gurley situation here.
Tuesday Player Interviews
**Side note: I was there today and was able to talk to Hutson a little bit and observe the interview. He seems much more confident and relaxed after finally finding some success and getting in a rhythm against Missouri. I’m not saying he’s going to go out there and be Aaron Murray every game, but I wouldn’t be surprised if this last weekend’s game was a turning point for Hutson, and he starts finally being the guy we all expected him to be.
