Ole Miss Trash Talk Game Is Weak, Ohio State Fan Gets Decked, And More
Strength & Conditioning
I am not sure what makes someone want to hop the fence and run on the field, but each and every year some drunk’n fool decides it’s a good idea. During the Ohio State game this past saturday, a fan ran on to the field only to be met be the strength and conditioning coach for the Buckeyes. The rest is history. He could not have run into a worse person. The strength and conditioning coach literally power-cleaned this kid to the ground, and it was everything we hope happens to Urban Meyer one day. Here is the video.
Bulletin Board Material
Ole Miss seems to run their mouths every single year before the annual matchup with Alabama. Last year, Bo Wallace said “we should have no problem scoring on Alabama”. That was before the 23-0 shutout in Bryant-Denny last season. Cody Prewitt has now given the Tide more bulletin board material with his comments made earlier this weekend. “We don’t really think Bama is as good as they have been”. Whether you believe what Prewitt says or not, you should never give a team bulletin board material. Baccari Rambo before the SEC title against Bama said “we have better athletes than Bama”, and Bama won that game by making one more athletic play then the Dawgs. Here is Prewitt’s full statement.
Below is Bo Wallace’s comments last year before the Alabama game:
“I think we have better receivers than A&M,” Wallace said. “They want to talk about Mike Evans being so good, but we have Donte (Moncrief) and I think Laquon (Treadwell) is going to be that way. We have better players on the outside than A&M does.
“Yeah, I think we can put points on them,” Wallace said. “I think we can put points on anybody. We just have to show up and play. It’s the same thing every week, let’s stay on schedule, control the tempo and don’t have any turnovers.”
Spurrier Is A Sore Loser
Anytime Spurrier gets pissed it is a great thing to watch. He is like a five-year old who does not get his turn on the swing. This saturday Maty Mauk ran out-of-bounds and hit the Ol’ Ball Coach as he was trying to stop himself. The death stare that Spurrier gave Mauk is priceless and makes you wish it was Todd Gurley hitting him instead of the undersized Mauk. Here is the full reaction.
