Mark Richt Denies Talking Trash to Clemson Fan

Before the Georgia beat-down of the Clemson Tigers last Saturday, a fan sent sent Mark Richt a letter talking trash and claiming that the Tigers’ speed would “blow those hedges away.” Well, Deadspin reported that Mark Richt sent this to the Clemson fan after the game:

Mark Richt has since come out and denied it, however:

Taylor Maxey: Saturday’s Hero

Perhaps the most underrated performance versus Clemson was that of Georgia fullback Taylor Maxey. Maxey, filling in for the medically disqualified Merritt Hall, was a key to this offense the entire night. He was the lead blocker on those Todd Gurley and Nick Chubb touchdowns, and without him, well, this might have been a different game.

The AJC has moe on Taylor Maxey’s performance here.

2nd Episode of Committed

Another great episode of “Committed,” the UGA football show, was released following the Clemson game, and it is certainly worth watching. Not only do you get to relive some of the Clemson plays and hear from coaches and players, but there is an amazing segment about a little boy with heart problems, and you won’t want to miss what the UGA players did for him.

Video here.
