2015

Tarvarus McFadden (RB) – ☆☆☆☆☆

Rivals – #28 Overall; #4 CB; #9 in FL

247 Sports#35 Overall; #4 CB; #9 in FL

ESPN#44 Overall; #5 CB; #11 in FL

  • Tarvarus is a tremendous athlete and has the ability to be a shutdown corner/safety at the next level. He would fit in great with Jeremy Pruitt’s system and would help tremendously in Georgia’s secondary (their current biggest weakness).
  • Like I reported earlier this week, McFadden loved his visit to Athens and spoke very highly of the Bulldogs. He also has a great relationship with former high school teammates and current bulldogs, Sony Michel and Isaiah McKenzie.
  • Today, McFadden revelead that he will be announcing his commitment on October 31st (Florida vs. Georgia Eve). The fact that this news is coming just days after his visit to UGA bodes very well for the Red & Black. I believe Tarvarus is all Dawg.

Nyheim Hines (RB) – ☆☆☆☆

Rivals – NR Overall; #9 RB; #10 in N.C.

247 Sports#79 Overall; #2 APB; #5 in N.C.

ESPN#149 Overall; #13 RB; #5 in N.C.

  • Hines is a terrific athlete and would be a huge steal if UGA could land him. His highlight tape is one of the better ones I’ve seen for the class of 2015.
  • Yesterday, he named his top 7 and UGA made the list:

2016

Jacob Eason (QB) – ☆☆☆☆☆

Rivals#2 Overall; #1 QB; #2 in WA

247 Sports#3 Overall; #1 QB; #1 in WA

ESPN#4 Overall; #1 QB-PP; #1 in WA

  • Eason, the solid UGA commit, could very well be the best QB to come out of high school in the last 10 years. His arm strength is unreal for someone who just finished their sophomore year of high school, and his height (6-5) is ideal for a quarterback. He’s still got some growing to do, and he needs to put on some weight (only weighs 205), but it is scary to think how good he’ll be when he enters his freshman year of college.
  • Jacob is working hard to become the best. Story here.

Marquez Callaway (WR) – ☆☆☆☆

Rivals#94 Overall; #15 WR; N/A

247 Sports#40 Overall; #2 ATH; #6 in GA

ESPN#152 Overall; #14 WR; #21 in GA

  •  Marquez is an elite receiver with great ball skills and great leaping ability. A little underrated by most recruiting services at this point, I think he’ll easily be rated as the #1 wide receiver in Georgia and one of the best in the country once he finishes his junior season.
  • He visited Athens for the Clemson game and loved it. It was his first college football game he’d ever been to and it blew him away. Story here.

*Receiver highlights start at 2:05

Mecole Hardman (ATH) – ☆☆☆☆

Rivals#236 Overall; #26 ATH; N/A

247 Sports#229 Overall; #23 CB; #22 in GA

ESPN#16 Overall; #1 ATH; #1 in GA

  • Hardman is one of the top players in Georgia, and his stock is rising quickly. He would be a great piece to add to the Dawgs’ 2016 recruiting class, and I think we have a great chance of landing him.
  • While on his visit to the Georgia/Clemson game, Hardman received an official offer from the Dawgs and immediately moved them into his top 3. Story here.

Highlights here.
