Georgia Football Recruiting: Two 4-Star UGA Locks Are Set to Commit This Month, and A 5-Star Coming Soon?
Recruiting Quick Hits
Tarvarus McFadden ☆☆☆☆☆
McFadden, one of UGA’s top priorities had a terrific time in Athens for the Clemson game.
He says that Jeremy Pruitt made it clear to him how much he wants him. If the Bulldogs are able to land McFadden, he would certainly be their biggest DB commit in the last few years. Tarvarus has great athleticism, and really has the ability to be a shutdown corner or safety, whichever Pruitt feels like would fit him best. I think UGA is the team to beat right now, but there are still a few others right there at the top as well.
His leaders are Georgia, FSU (thought by many to be his favorite), and LSU

Emmanuel McGirt ☆☆☆☆
After visiting Athens for the Clemson game on Saturday, a decision seems to be coming soon for the OL out of Durham, N.C. McGirt loved everything about his visit and said it was even better than his time at Dawg Night. Since Emmauel will be enrolling early at the school of his choice, he said that his decision will be coming within the month. You have to think that this news, coming just a couple days after his visit to Georgia, spells good things for the Bulldogs. At 6-6, 275 lbs., McGirt would add even more size to this already stellar OL class that UGA is putting together. He would fit in great at Georgia and would have a realistic shot at starting as a freshman.
McGirt’s leaders are Georgia, N.C. State, and Florida.

Micah Abernathy ☆☆☆☆
Micah Abernathy, whose been considered a Georgia lean for a while now, also says that he will be announcing his decision this month. Like McGirt, Abernathy was also in Athens for the Clemson game, and the fact that he now says he’ll be committing sometime this month makes you think that Micah has the “Dawgs On Top.” Abernathy would be a huge pickup for the Dawgs, who always seem to be in need of DBs. Abernathy has good size for his position at 6-1, 175 lbs., and would fit in great with Jeremy Pruitt’s new defense.
Abernathy’s leaders are Georgia, Oregon, Tennessee, and Ohio State.
