UGA has quite an impressive list of players visiting for the Clemson game.  This could be a monster weekend for the Bulldogs in terms of recruiting, as many think Georgia will land at least one or two commits on Saturday. Even if the Dawgs don’t land anyone right after the game, a win in a big-game atmosphere could have an enormous impact on many elite players.

There are a few key players that I think will walk away from Sanford Stadium Saturday night just itching to call up Coach Richt and commit.

Chuma EdogaChuma has been committed to USC for a few months now, but many believe his heart is really with the Dawgs. With Godwin, Thompson, Rivers, and Patrick heckling him throughout the game, I could certainly see a another flip coming for the Red and Black.

Roquan SmithI think Roquan is a player whose known deep down for a while that he wants to be a Bulldog, but just hasn’t wanted to rush into anything. After feeling the electricity of Sanford Stadium following a big win, however, I think Roquan will pull the trigger and add to UGA’s already stellar defensive class.

Tarvarus McFaddenGeorgia is really starting to move up on the list for the 5- star defensive back from Florida. After spending time on Saturday with former high school teammates and good friends, Sony Michel and Isaiah McKenzie, I believe McFadden will realize that he wants to be a part of Dawg Nation as well.

  1. Sony Michel and Isaiah McKenzie being on the field as true freshmen (along with several others) in front of 90,000+ screaming maniacs will certainly help. McFadden will see that if you have the talent (like his good friends) you will play regardless of your class standing. This is why rivalry games are so important with their electric atmosphere. The atmosphere for the Charleston Southern game won’t help you recruit a no star who’s only there offer is from a directional school. Big games matter.

Great points. I only wish Josh Sweat would be in the stadium this Saturday, rather than against Vanderbilt.
