The Moment (none of) You All Have Been Waiting For: The Beef ‘O’ Brady’s Bowl Preview

If you folks were brave enough to put money on what the DudeYouCrazy Normalized Scoring Model predicted for the Bowl Games you probably love me.  The picks are 3-0 after BYU’s comfortable win last night (the Cougars were favored by 2.5 and won by 17) and if you’d bet an equal amount on each game you would be up over 90%.

So let’s see if we can keep this sucker moving.

Beef ‘O’ Brady’s Bowl St. Petersburg

Tonight’s elite matchup features Beef ‘O’ Brady’s and their microwave dinners-gone-restaurant hosting a matchup between Ball State and Central Florida.

Much like Boise, Ball is not a state.  But unlike Boise I don’t think Ball State can even compete with a Conference USA powerhouse.  Ball State plays in the MAC (The Most Awful Conference) and boasts a 9-3 record with close loss to Kent State (you know the team that Kentucky beat), a loss to Northern Illinois and a thorough dismemberment at the hands of Clemson (52-27).

UCF comes into the game with a 15 point loss to Ohio State, a five point loss to Missouri and two losses to Tulsa (one of which came in OT) by a combined eight points.  Now if tying is like kissing your sister, then I’d have to think losing two close games to Tulsa twice in the same season is like kissing a corpse.  It’s got to be bad.

The math shows a win for the Central Floridians, and I don’t care enough about either of these teams to look any further into it, so I’m just going to leave it there.  And, I expect Knights to cover the 7 points they’re favored by.

That’s all I got/
