Georgia Legend Calls Todd Gurley the Best Running Back on the Planet

This morning, legendary Georgia quarterback Fran Tarkenton joined Atlanta’s 680 the Fan for his weekly football segment.

When the topic of Georgia’s injuries came up, Tarkenton insisted that the injury to Todd Gurley hurt the team the most because, “He’s the best running back on the planet…pro football or college football.”

That’s high praise coming from a guy who knows a thing or two about football. ┬áTarkenton was a 9x Pro Bowler and is a member of the Pro Football Hall of Fame and the College Football Hall of Fame.
